Our history is our philosophy

The hotel is located along the Rio Stava River, on an old site where workshops, mills, carpenter shops and sawmills flourished in the nineteenth century. The Peretti family took over the hotel in 1985; after an exhaustive restoration, the hotel reopened in 1991. The Peretti’s skilful management of the Rio Stava enabled them to acquire the nearby Lagorai di Cavalese Hotel, which—subsequent to its restoration and reopening in 2004—developed into one of the most beautiful and important hotels in Trentino. The family tradition and its rich experience acquired over the course of the years led to an important project in 2010: we completely redesigned the Rio Stava and we will inaugurate it as a hotel especially for families in time for Christmas 2011. The teamwork and support of the whole Peretti family, which has passionately pursued the philosophy of hospitality for years, were decisive factors in this project. Our goal is simple: to offer guests an unforgettable experience fully focussed on wellbeing in contact with nature.
