A unique natural heritage

The valley is rich in protected natural parks that attract thousands of tourists from all over the world every year: Paneveggio Nature Park, with the pink stone faces of the Dolomites and placid glacial lakes; Monte Corno Nature Park, which has splendid habitats that are home to a rich array of rare species of animals; a geological park, located between Aldino and Redagno, full of geological treasures and unusual rock formations; and the botanical garden in Ziano di Fiemme, in which medicinal plants and plant species from the surrounding mountains thrive. In the Fiemme Valley, the magnificent spectacle of nature - mountains, forests, meadows, streams and Alpine lakes—is the star of the show.
