Customs and traditions
Tesero is a village with a history of handicrafts, situated in the Fiemme Valley and at an elevation of about 1,000 metres above sea level. Thanks to its central location and accessibility to Alpine and Nordic skiing, it is an important tourist destination in summer and winter alike. Known as a focal point for local artisans, Tesero is the setting for a number of different annual activities set up for the enhancement of regional traditions, such as the popular fair of nativity scenes set up along the streets of the old town and a week in celebration of what is called Le Court de Tiézer, which features a historical re-enactment of life and of the ancient crafts of days gone by.
