The eastern Dolomites: a unique natural heritage
Ancient habits and traditions in the heart of Fiemme Valley
In our little green paradise, close to the village of Tesero, in the Eastern Dolomites, with the majestic Latemar range on the horizon, you will enjoy your relaxing holiday and have the chance to take part in many different activities. Our hotel is the perfect starting point for summer strolls, hikings, rides on horses or on mountain bikes. Guided snowshoes walkings or exciting ski-themed days await you in winter.
Thanks to its central location, Tesero is not only a village in the Fiemme Valley with a history of handicrafts but also an important tourist destination in summer and winter alike. Tesero hosts a number of different annual activities aimed at enhancing our regional traditions, such as the popular fair of nativity scenes along the streets of the old town and the event “Le Corte de Tiézer”, which features a historical commemoration of life and of the ancient crafts of days gone by.
The village of Cavalese, the administrative, cultural and historical centre of the Fiemme Valley, is just a few kilometres away from Tesero. Cavalese is home to the main services of the valley and also a lively commercial centre ideal for shopping. It hosts fairs, local street markets and exhibitions that enhance the beauty of the area.
The Fiemme Valley is one of the most evocative Dolomitic valleys in the eastern Trentino. It is unanimously appreciated for its wonderful and uncontaminated natural parks: the Parco Naturale Paneveggio with the Dolomitic pink rocks and the placid glacial lakes; the Parco Naturale Monte Corno with its numerous and rare faunal species; the Parco di Aldino e Redagno and its geological treasures and the unusual rocky landscapes; the botanical garden in Ziano di Fiemme full of medicinal plants and vegetables.
