Set along the lively rio Stava torrent, the hotel was an ancient 19th century site of artisans’ workshops, mills, sawmills and carpentries. The Hotel, existing since 1930,
was taken over in 1985 by the Peretti family, who restored it and inaugurated it in 1991.
The running of the company led the Peretti family to the acquisition of the nearby Lagorai Hotel in Cavalese in 1997, which enjoys an incomparable view over the Val di Fiemme and the Lagorai mountain chain. It has been reopened in 2004 after its rebuilding
as a romantic hotel with spa, suitable for couples looking for relaxation.
In 2010 the Rio Stava was completely redesigned and was inaugurated at Christmas 2011 as an exclusive Family Hotel, conceived according to the most modern hotel standards. The family tradition and the rich professional training acquired over the years, led us to a new and important project in 2019: the Hotel Ciampedie in Vigo di Fassa was inaugurated in summer 2021, the first and only 5-star hotel in Fassa valley, for the guest in search of luxury, refinement and new emotions.
The mutual support of the whole Peretti family was decisive,
